Campaign Kickoff at 139 Olive
Campaign Kickoff at 139 Olive
Ashley Stone Hernandez launches her Keller City Council Place 5 campaign with a community meet and greet in Keller, Texas.
Our first campaign meet and greet officially kicked off tonight at 139 Olive, and I could not be more grateful for the way our community showed up.
What started as a simple idea to gather neighbors and start conversations quickly turned into a room full of encouragement, connection, and momentum. Thank you to everyone who came out to support the launch of this campaign for Keller City Council Place 5.
This evening was not about speeches or politics. It was about community.
I had the chance to talk with neighbors, hear what people are thinking about Keller’s future, and connect with so many people who care deeply about this city. Those conversations are exactly why I decided to run in the first place.
My focus in this race is simple.
Listen first.
Stay present.
Keep building community connection.
That is how we steward Keller well.
A Grateful Start
I want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make tonight possible.
To the friends and neighbors who came out to show support.
To the volunteers who stepped forward to help with the campaign.
To those who donated and offered prayers for the road ahead.
And to the many people who simply came to introduce themselves and share their thoughts about Keller.

Every one of those moments matters.
We were also keeping an eye on the weather tonight as storms started rolling into the area. I’m especially grateful for everyone who made the effort to stop by before the rain arrived.
And for those who could not make it, I completely understand. Sports schedules were happening all over town tonight. My own kids were part of that reality too.
The good news is this was just the beginning.
This Is Just the First of Many
Tonight’s kickoff was the first of many opportunities to connect with residents across Keller.
We will be hosting additional meetups throughout the campaign in different locations and at different times so more people can join the conversation. My goal is to make it easy for residents to engage, ask questions, and share their perspective about the future of our city.
Because ultimately, the future of Keller should be shaped by the people who call it home.
Momentum Already Building
One of the most encouraging parts of the evening was seeing the immediate support for the campaign.

Because of the generosity of those who attended tonight’s kickoff, we raised enough to begin placing larger campaign signs along Keller Parkway and other areas around the city.
So if you start seeing a few more signs around town soon, you will know exactly where that momentum started.
As the campaign for Keller City Council Place 5 continues, I look forward to meeting more residents across Keller, listening to concerns, and sharing ideas about the future of our city. Local elections matter because the decisions made at the city level impact everyday life for Keller families, neighborhoods, and small businesses.

A Strong Start
Launching this campaign surrounded by neighbors, friends, and community leaders reminded me exactly why Keller is such a special place.
